I am also intrigued by the cold-coffee method which I mentioned in a previous post - although I havent tried it yet!The Old Foodiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00766403052971301718noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24170237.post-60438597945953291192013-05-29T19:33:31.526+10:002013-05-29T19:33:31.526+10:00I am intrigued indeed, Ken. I have seen similar recipes in other 19th century cookbooks...as I recall Alexis Soyer had a very different take but I don't have his book to hand at the moment.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24170237.post-49939980518615529592013-05-29T12:51:21.073+10:002013-05-29T12:51:21.073+10:00But aren't you really intrigued about what it ...But aren't you really intrigued about what it might taste like? I really like cowboy coffee, boiled for a long time, but then drunk with the sludge, like Turkish. Who knows, this might be good.Ken Albalahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16379852662105383295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24170237.post-42301616967039398172013-05-29T10:40:34.113+10:002013-05-29T10:40:34.113+10:00The Vanilla Coffee sounds like a fun experiment, I...The Vanilla Coffee sounds like a fun experiment, I'll give it a go!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
