Back then, the restaurants had two (count them, two) desserts: (alleged) chocolate mousse and flan. I have never liked flan, and their version of chocolate mousse was pretty tasteless. I suppose there must have been candy in the stores, but I don't remember any. I could really have gone for that candied pumpkin.<br /><br />Of course, maybe island culture was different.korenninoreply@blogger.com
